Description
Lactose sugar (milk sugar) is a non fermentable sugar used to impart residual sweetness to beers, while also imparting a fuller mouthfeel to the finished beverage. Lactose is most often used when brewing specific beer styles, like a Milk Stout. Which this style of beer, the drinker will desire a sweeter finish with a soft fuller mouthfeel. This is achievable by small additions of Lactose Sugar.
